| Scapolite, medium golden yellow-orange, 16.8 x 14.1 x 11.2 mm checkerboard block (I'm really not sure what to call this). 28.72 carats. This nicely shows the dichroism of scapolite, as the color through the ends is markedly darker than through the sides. Jewelry designers, please tell me your ideas for using this. Color rendition varies significantly with your monitor/video configuration, and stones often appear somewhat different in color depending on the light source. My photography leaves much to be desired, and I've yet to figure out the secrets of good color rendition. The only way for you to get a really accurate view of these stones is to see them in person. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing. You will have a 15 day approval period in which to return any stones unaltered for a full refund.
