Gemstones (Colored Stones) for Sale

All prices are in US dollars. Unless otherwise noted, these stones are all natural in origin and have not been dyed, irradiated, fracture-sealed, or otherwise enhanced, and all were personally selected and cut by John Miller.

Scapolite, medium golden yellow-orange, 16.8 x 14.1 x 11.2 mm checkerboard block (I'm really not sure what to call this). 28.72 carats. This nicely shows the dichroism of scapolite, as the color through the ends is markedly darker than through the sides. Jewelry designers, please tell me your ideas for using this. I could see it set in the lid of a box, or perhaps outlined in a wire as a pendant, or . . . ??? For just $600, you can do with it as you please!
Tourmaline, medium green/blue Namibian material, pair of 6 mm rounds, total weight 1.44 carats. These would be perfect for a pair of stud earrings, could make a terrific ring, or whatever. The pair is yours for only $150.
Tourmaline, medium pink, 7.3 mm trilliant, 1.12 carats. This could make a lovely ring or pendant. Take it away for just $135.
Tourmaline, medium pink/light green bicolor, pair of 8.7 x 5.4 mm emerald cuts, total weight 3.74 carats. Nice color contrast on these, just waiting for a special piece of jewelry. All yours for just $350.
Pyrope-almandite garnet, medium pink, 7.6 mm square cushion with a checkerboard crown, 2.13 carats. The color rendition in this photo is terrible, but the stone is a gorgeous bright pink. A great ringstone for $185.
Tourmaline, medium pink, 6.2 mm round, .83 carat. A nice little ring stone for only $55.

This is just a representative list of stones available for sale. Other stones are on hand but just not listed, so if you don't see what you want, ask and I'll see what I have. I'm always intending to expand this list but am always very slow in getting around to it, so please see my contact page. if there's something in particular you're seeking. My friends at Tradeshop.com also have an extensive inventory of fabulous colored stones as well as the diamonds for which they're famous, so be sure to check their offerings as well.

Color rendition varies significantly with your monitor/video configuration, and stones often appear somewhat different in color depending on the light source. My photography leaves much to be desired, and I've yet to figure out the secrets of good color rendition. The only way for you to get a really accurate view of these stones is to see them in person. If you see something here that interests you, please see my contact page. Stones will be sent to you via U.S. insured or registered mail after receipt of payment (check or money order).
